You'll work closely with production teams to ensure proper sanitation of equipment, facilities, and production areas, making a positive impact every day.What You'll Do As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for:Coordinating with Production staff to stay informed of upcoming cleaning needs.Preparing daily bleach baths for sanitation and verifying chemical concentrations meet safety standards.Cleaning production vessels, utensils, and other food-contact equipment efficiently and in accordance with sanitation protocols.Handling large equipment and vessels, which may involve lifting barrels, standing on ladders, and leaning over tanks to ensure thorough cleaning.Moving large production equipment to and from cleaning areas using carts or wheels with team assistance.Following detailed cleaning procedures outlined in SOPs to maintain hygiene standards.Keeping the dish and laundry areas clean by sweeping, mopping, wiping down walls, washers, and dryers regularly.Weekly cleaning of floor mats, drains, and off-strip curtains over dry dish storage.Quarterly cleaning of dish racks and monthly sanitation of dish area and equipment.What You'll Bring The ideal candidate will have:A high school diploma or GED.Completed sanitation and SOP training, preferably supervised by management.Prior experience in food manufacturing, restaurants, or cleaning roles is a plus.Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, GMP practices, and documentation requirements.Knowledge of mechanical equipment operations is helpful but not mandatory.Ability to work independently and as part of a team while adhering to health and safety standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness.Why Join Us in Eugene?
